Fishing on Lake Okeechobee is up there with the best freshwater experiences in the country. Trophy Largemouth Bass and true Slab Speck make this their home, and throughout the year, no matter the season, you’ll see a quality bag being pulled on a regular basis. Easily one of the most premier fisheries in all of the land!
Lake O Bass Fishing
Capt. Justin Morgan loves bass fishing trips and really excels in an artificial fishing lure environment, whether it’s throwing a topwater frog like a SPRO, or pitching a creature bait from Bass Assassin Lures.
If Artificial ain’t your thing, that’s okay, too! Before y’all hit the water, Capt. Justin can pick up some shiners, which are an additional minor cost in addition to the trip cost. Bass can be finicky and it can take a lot to trick them with artificial lures, however, very few Largemouth Bass can pass up that sweet Golden Shiner!
Speck Fishing On Okeechobee
Black Crappie, also known as Speck or Speckled Perch in the south, are easily one of the best eating fish out there, and one of the prettiest. These fish tend to thrive in the winter months here, but can be caught year-round.
Capt. Justin Morgan provides a truly great experience with this, in a one-pole jigging format! You’ll cruise around and find spots to drop a jig (and tipped minnow, if your heart desires) wait for that Speck to bite! Get your limit and have a few good sammiches in the freezer for the coming months!

Big Bass Heaven
Headwaters Lake
Located near Fellesmere, FL, this new-to-the-boating-public reservoir was been nurtured to life thanks to the St. Johns River Water Management District and the FWC. The goal was to produce a renowned fishery with epic largemouth bass for decades to come. Headwaters Lake, otherwise known as Fellsmere Reservoir, is filled with vegetation and variable water depths, as to give the fish plenty of unique and different environments within the reservoir to make due. 1 Million Bass and 1 Million panfish were stocked by FWC, and it provides a 10-lb fish on at least a weekly basis to anglers from all over!

On the day of your scheduled trip, we will meet at the boat ramp on Headwaters Lake or at Fellsmere Outdoor Adventures to ensure we have our live bait needs and any last minute things we need to crush the trip!
